When we came into work on June 6, our in-boxes contained an email from Tricia Barrett, who was in Dallas attending the Healthcare Communication & Marketing Association (HCMA) annual conference. Tricia let us know that Crowley Webb had won Best of Show as well as two Gold International Awards of Excellence (IN-AWE Awards), one of the healthcare advertising and marketing industry’s most prestigious honors. These awards are unique among healthcare awards because the judging criteria incorporate strategy and performance, as well as visual creative appeal. Winning an IN-AWE Award has always stood as a testament of effective healthcare marketing. Taking home Best of Show was the piece de resistance, especially since our work was up against over 900 entries from top ad agencies across the world.
Crowley Webb won Best of Show and a Gold award for a business-to-business marketing campaign – Have Patients! – we created for Praxis Communications, a patient recruitment firm in Brentwood, Tenn. The agency earned a second Gold award for one of the campaign’s individual direct mail pieces.
“The partnership Crowley Webb has with Praxis allows both sides to achieve creative excellence,” says Tricia Barrett, vice president and managing supervisor, who accepted the awards on the agency’s behalf. “Praxis built their brand on creativity, and they let us push the envelope in ways that showcase that creativity. They continually challenge us to do our best work.”
Crowley Webb’s Have Patients! award-winning campaign will be featured in two industry publications, PharmaVoice and Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M), this August.
